Ascalon armor

Prophecies Campaign

The Ascalon Armor is a set of armor art for the 6 core professions from the Prophecies Campaign. In the Prophecies Campaign, the Ascalon Armor art is only used for the respective profession's starter armor (with the exception of Warrior which also use this art as the armorer version of the basic armor). As the starter armor has the lowest possible stats, most players switch out of it as soon as they encounter collectors offering armor in Pre-Searing, or through the armor crafters in the Post-Searing Ascalon City.

Factions Campaign

In the Factions Campaign, the Ascalon Armor art makes a comeback for the core professions, and is available as one of the three available art variations for low-end armor on Shing Jea Island, as well as level 20 armor at Kaineng Center.

The armor crafters for Ascalon Armor are:

Standard AL = Level*3 for casters, Level*3+10 for Ranger and Assassin, and Level*3+20 for Warriors

The corresponding armors for the Factions Campaign professions are called the Seitung Armor, and are crafted by the same crafters. Note that the "level" here is not a requirement for wearing the armors. Rather, they roughly represent the levels a player is expected to be to function properly, or "difficulty", in nearby areas.
