Description

The Battle Axe is a basic variety of axe that comes in several designs. The most common (topmost image) variety has a wooden shaft and a simple metal blade.

This is a Prophecies campaign item.

Dye

It is unknown how dye affects all Battle Axes. However, the Battle Axes with colored handles, when dyed, will turn the color of the dye. The rest of the axe stays the same.

Notes

If the Battle Axe has the Piercing Axe design (bottommost image), it will deal piercing damage; otherwise it will deal slashing damage.
