A Blessing is a special temporary bonus granted by an NPC.
Acquisition[ | ]
Blessings are granted by the following NPCs, typically against a payment in gold:
- Avatars of gods, summoned at a statue of the respective god.
- Luxon Priests and Kurzick Priests, found in Cantha near Resurrection Shrines of explorable areas controlled by their respective factions.
- Sunspear Scouts, Wandering Priests, Vabbian Scouts, Whispers Informants, Ghostly Scouts, Ghostly Priests, and Forgotten Keepers, found in Elona near Resurrection Shrines.
Characteristics[ | ]
- A blessing is not an enchantment, which means it can not be removed (shattered, stripped, etc.) or otherwise be abused by foes. On the downside, it also doesn't count to provided bonuses granted "while enchanted".
- A blessing does not end when you die.
- A blessing ends when you zone.
- Most blessings granted by gods' avatars expire after 20 minutes.
- Blessings of the same type do not stack.
- Blessings can't be used in PvP.
