Merchants are [[NPC]]s that can be found in almost any [[town]] or [[city]]. A player can buy various items from them; most notable among these are the [[Expert Salvage Kit]]s and the [[Identification Kit]]. Even more important, a player can sell any of his items here and turn them into [[Gold]]. This is a major source of income for every player. Players should be careful when selling items, however, because once sold, an item can '''not''' be bought back from the trader. Also, other traders might offer a lot higher prices for certain items, for example [[Dye]]s or [[Rune]]s.
