Use of spoiler tag in user pages[]
Several users have the "spoiler" tag used innapropriately on their user pages. Should we simply remove all of these? Or create a "user spoiler" tag as a substitute? Or some other action to clean up the category? --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 20:32, 28 March 2007 (CDT)
- subst out the tag and remove the categories, with applogies for modding the user's pages. i'll get started. --Honorable Sarah 00:02, 29 March 2007 (CDT)
What is it good for?[]
Call me dense, but I can't see any use for this category. Does anybody? --◄mendel► 21:33, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- Dense. It's interesting? Why shouldn't we have it here?-- (Talk) (Contr.) 21:36, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- Because it duplicates [1]. --◄mendel► 21:58, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- (edit conflict - original message overwritten) *mrmph* (translation: mendel took the words out of my mouth... literally) Also, this category doesn't really have any value. Why would anyone want to see a list of all the spoilers on the wiki? Either they know about them already, in which case why are they looking, or they don't, in which case normal people would not want to read them. —Dr Ishmael 22:00, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- "What links here" is empty except for two category tree pages, so I suggest removing the autocat, placing a delete tag, waiting a day for the autocat change to update (or maybe not as long, dunno how long it takes), check if there are pages left that are manually catted, and then delete? --◄mendel► 22:23, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
