Warning: The following text contains spoilers relating to the plot of the Factions Campaign.
Celestial skills are special very powerful skills granted to players by the dragon Kuunavang. Much like Resurrection Signets, a celestial skill becomes disabled after it has been used once until recharged by a Morale Boost.
Celestial skills appear in the following areas:
- Raisu Palace mission
- Raisu Palace (explorable)
- Imperial Sanctum mission
Notes[ | ]
- Characters can only gain the celestial skills for their primary professions.
- Celestial skills are not learned, only granted temporarily. They are lost upon entering a new zone.
- It is possible to Echo chain celestial skills, which means that a powerful skill like Celestial Storm can be used 3 times in a row.
- It is possible to replace a maintained enchantment such as Divine Boon with a celestial skill after the enchantment has been cast without losing the enchantment. Note that Shiro himself has no disenchanting ability, but he may use Echoing Banishment to summon a Bound Mesmer or Bound Necromancer. These mobs have disenchanting skills, so replacing important maintained enchantments can be risky.
- Consider replacing Charm Animal with your celestial skill, your pet will stay with you, allowing you to use the celestial skill without losing the benefit of charm animal.
- Heroes cannot gain celestial skills since they have no way of talking to Kuunavang. This is in contrast to henchmen, who do gain celestial skills despite the same problem.
