Chromatic Drakes are elementalist monsters found in various areas of the Eye of the North expansion. They are proficient in all elements of the magical spectrum available to an elementalist, and can switch between each element using Elemental Shift. Parties who are unprepared for these may be surprised at their deadly nature.

- The Elemental Shift skill is not to be underestimated. A few deadly combinations these drakes use include Mind Freeze and Mind Shock at the same time, or putting up Obsidian Flesh and spiking with Fire skills. Protection spells are a must against any mob of these.
