Description
Cranes can be tamed as pets by using the Ranger skill, Charm Animal. They deal slashing damage.
There are level 15 fully evolved cranes (usually elder) found near Yetis in eastern Pongmei Valley. To capture one, enter Pongmei Valley from Boreas Seabed and flag your hero/henchman party onto the corner where the Yetis first appear. Wait until your party will have reached that spot, then approach and aggro the Yetis. You can usually kill them before they charm the Elder pet (sometimes you get Elder Tigers instead), and then charm it yourself, or with your ranger hero.

Notes
- All cranes' head color was changed from Red to Blue in an update sometime before September 18, 2006.
- Cranes are possibly the Factions campain substitute for Moa Bird from Prophecies.
