Warning: The following text contains spoilers relating to the plot of Prophecies.
Dinas is a White Mantle scribe in charge of safe-keeping the Scepter of Orr. He is first encountered in the D'Alessio Seaboard mission where he flees with the Scepter from the undead besieging Confessor Dorian (he is Dorian's personal scribe).
Later on, in the Riverside Province mission, it is revealed that Dinas is actually a Shining Blade spy. He facilitates the theft of the Scepter from the Mantle.
