A district is akin to an instance, except for public areas. When a certain number of people are in a city or [[[outpost]], a new district is opened up to prevent overcrowding. Districts are completely identical. They are numbered from one to as high as they need to go to prevent any one district from becoming full. Players can change their district (if more than one exists) via the drop down menue in the top left corner of the screen. When using map travel, you can also chose the destination district via a drop down menue on the target location dialogue. In the European territory there are by default multiple districts for different languages (English, Frensh, German, Italian and Spanish). Players are placed by default into a district that matches the language that is set in their game's options. There are also international distrcits where you can meet characters from another territories.
