Duration is the term that describes how long a static effect lasts. A static effect is one that lasts over a certain amount of time, for example Conditions, Enchantments, Hexes, etc. The unit of measurement is second.
The "of Enchanting" weapon upgrade affects the duration of enchantments cast by the wielder.
