- His area has an Environment Effect called Curse of Silence, which disables shouts and chants.
- Despite his exceedingly high level for an Istani creature, he actually doesn't deal much damage, unless you ignore his hexes and trigger their effects. Simply having some restraint is usually more than enough to defeat him.
- While a unique creature, the Evil Mime is not considered as a boss. Players will be unable to capture the elite skill Visions of Regret off him.
