A Festival Prize is a reward for participating in the Shing Jea Boardwalk.

Prices[ | ]

The prizes themselves, or the items obtained by opening them, can be traded between players. Some items can also be sold to a merchant for a set price. Based on this fact, each prize has an average "street value" in gold.

Likelihood Item Street value
40% 5 Victory Tokens 150Gold1
30% 1 Red Bean Cake 200Gold
25% 1 Bottle of Rice Wine 200Gold
5% 1 platinum 1 Platinum
Average street value2 = 220Gold
1 The street value of tokens is based on the standard trade offer of 25–35Gold per token (based on the experience of several years of festivals). The tokens have no value to merchants.
2 The average street value is the per prize gold you can expect to earn after opening hundreds of them. Your values will differ.

When exchanging prizes for Festival Tickets from Kao Tseng:

  • 1 Festival Ticket = 15Gold
  • 1 Festival Prize = 25 Festival Tickets = 375Gold

For maximum gold profit, sell the Festival Tickets to Sunri. The profit then is 375Gold for 25 tickets as opposed to the average value of 220Gold for the Festival Prize.
