Grothmar Wardowns
Leave from Longeye's Ledge (can also grab the Vanguard Patrol from the nearby shrine). There are about six groups of Mandragors to the west of the river. One efficient route is to start by grabbing the group to your immediately left (east of Langmar), then return west and then south, roughly hugging the right (west) side, loop around the snow-capped hill in the south west, and return north along the grassy knolls until you can see the Fallen Vanguard Soldier.
Drop rates for an all-player party can vary from 3 – 10 per run.


  • All the mandragor can charge, causing 60 damage and knock down.
  • They also bring Ground Cover, a decent blocking skill.
  • The Dust Devils and Smoke Devils are trappers, which can cause problems if you are not careful where you step.
  • Vile Mandragor have degeneration skills.
  • The Shadowfangs will cause numerous conditions.

Nevertheless, many of the standard solo builds will do fine, as long as you do not let the mandragors overwhelm you. Consider bringing a summoning skill (especially Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support) to distract them, a knock-down counter (especially "I Am Unstoppable!"), and self-healing.

If you have any trouble, consider bringing a protection hero, since you can flag them out of danger (e.g. a bonder or a ritualist with Soul Twisting and Union/Shelter).
