A weapon with a "fiery" name prefix has a weapon upgrade of the same name:

Fiery Axe Haft
Fiery Bowstring
Fiery Dagger Tang
Fiery Hammer Haft
Fiery Scythe Snathe
Fiery Spearhead
Fiery Sword Hilt

Effect[ | ]

A Fiery weapon upgrade provides the following bonus to the weapon (the user respectively):

Converts physical damage to fire damage.

Notes[ | ]

Fiery weapons do more damage against enemies using skills like Physical Resistance. Adding this to a weapon however, makes your attacks weaker if your enemies are using skills like Elemental Resistance, Mantra of Flame, or Ward Against Harm.

Fiery weapon upgrades are often useful in conjunction with Elementalist skills like Conjure Flame and Mark of Rodgort.

Note that Greater Conflagration does the same effect to your weapon as well as your ally's weapons.

Fiery Dragon Sword and Fiery Blade Axe comes with Fiery upgrade. That upgrade cannot be salvaged nor replaced.
