Description

• Elementalist left hand Item that requires Fire Magic.

There are two types of Flame Artifacts. The more common variety is in thin, fairly flat and in the shape of a stylised flame. Can also be obtained from collectors and weaponsmiths.
The rare version has a wandlike design with a floating head resembling a giant eye.

Dye

Common flame artifacts can be dyed if they come from a collector. Collector's artifacts from Cantha dye differently than from Tyria and Elona.
Please note that the Tyria/Elona one can't be undyed anymore once dye was applied.
The default color of the Canthan artifact is Yellow.
The sparkles won't dye.

The eye artifact, however, is apparently unaffected by dye.

When dyed, the color of the artifact's inventory icon does not change.
