Very active as of recently, many (many) helpful edits to the wiki, good personality for an admin, appears to be familiar with wikicoding, nearly completed the entire concise descriptions on his lonesome. ìğá†ħŕášħTalk 03:36, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:
Holy crap, I never expected this. Getting a slice of toast from PanSola and a barnstar from RT was thanks enough, but I'll accept this as well, if the admin team thinks I deserve it.
In my own defense, I admit that my primary interest is in Guild Wars, the game. My interest in this wiki is merely an offshoot of that, which means that most of the time, I would prefer to be playing the game rather than, say, patrolling RC for vandals. However, this is not always the case: when EotN was released, I gave up a good deal of game time in order to help get the new skills/effects documented here by adding descriptions and icons for them. Also, sometime after Nightfall's release I cleaned up all the mission articles because they needed it (something which I was recently considering doing again, until Quizzical beat me to it).
To keep this short, I'll just say that if I am given admin status, it would give me a very strong incentive to devote more time to this community, which I would gladly do. —Dr Ishmael 07:58, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
After thinking on this for a couple days now, I'm going to withdraw my acceptance of this nomination. I appreciate Gigathrash's sentiment, but it does feel a bit over-reactive to make me an admin just because I completed a task that everyone else felt was too big to tackle (that's the impression I got, at least, based on how many people had started the job without finishing). —Dr Ishmael 17:46, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Dr ishmael was made a House-Cleaning Admin on 4-14-08.

(your vote here)
Contributes solely to the wiki based on personal whim and boredom rather than a strong commitment to its maintenance and advancement (other than completing incomplete data). Is only sporadically active and thus additional sysop tools would not add much. Very well versed in wikicode, level-headed, many edits to mainspace, etc. But I feel that what Dr ishmael does best in his contributions - namely, creating comprehensive tables and killing redlinks - can be done just as well without sysop tools. Therefore I am disinclined to promote. (T/C) 06:30, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
(Didn't know we could vote before he accepted) But yeah, I'm pretty much dittoing what Entropy said, I think that his numerous contributions (however appreciated they may be) are simply a result of wiki-ogre-ism. Unfortunately, I feel that this activity will eventually die down, but maybe time will prove differently. No, not quite worth adminship, but if the edits remain consistent, then yes. --Powersurge360 06:35, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
