#Gordon has put in an incredible amount of hours to the Wiki, and as far as I've seen every single contribution he makes is a nontrivial one. Always gets in good edits such as being the first to create articles on new features. Not an opinionated hothead or a rumor-mongerer; when he doesn't know something he leaves it open to more experienced users and invites them to update the articles. Impartial and objective, cool and collected even in the heat of debate...Need I go on? It's been too long, Gordon should have been nominated long ago. Gordon Ecker (talkcontribs)

Gordon Ecker is a very mature and well respected member of the Guild Wars community. His contributions are nearly always meaningful, and he in fact rarely contributes in the build section. He is a very experienced player of Guild Wars, and has provided the wiki with a wealth of knowledge. He is, in my experience, a very mature contributor and rarely, if ever, incites or prolongs violations of GW:NPA. The wiki community at large has expressed their desire for Gordon to be an admin, and I feel as well that he would our best option to give the sysop tools to. With a new campaign and game just around the corner, the wiki will need new adminsistrators to help control the influx of new information. Gordon is a well informed individual in the matters of the game and, in my opinion, is our current best choice for a new administrator.

Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:

  2. Very much supported. Seems like a good guy, has done an incredible amount of work on the wiki and has a good idea of how this place works; doesn't go out looking for trouble, but doesn't shy from confrontation if conflict does arise. --Dirigible 11:55, 31 March 2007 (CDT)
  3. He is awesome, do I need to say more? --SigmA
