This article provides a guideline to standard colors to use when highlighting sections of an article based upon profession referenced.
Standard color usage[]
Each profession is identified by a unique icon for that profession. In GuildWiki, the community has selected standard colors to use within articles to represent these professions as well.

Templates[]
In order to simplify the usage of the standard colors and eliminate the need to memorise the codes, the community has also implemented templates to represent each color for each profession. These templates can be used to simplify the insertion of the standard colors into articles. Here is the usage structure for the templates (the template W-color is used in the example):
{{W-color|xxx}}
Where xxx is one of the following values:
- light
- background (same as light)
- dark
- border (same as dark)
Note: if not specified, the default value is light
