DPL technique[]
It works - sort of. Today, the game updates still show the DPL page in "what links here", but the "Quest locations" category has lost the info. Of course this is unacceptable. We need to experiment. I'm now calling up every subpage and hope that the orphans list is shorter tomorrow. --◄mendel► 16:30, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Ok, I tried using the other call style for DPL, and judging by this, I expect for Mediawiki to register links in the database - the tag-type calls just showed the DPL tags at this stage (even though some links were registered, or I wouldn't have undertaken this task - it's just weird). --◄mendel► 23:51, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

missing links[]
Unfortunately, if you add an article to a category, that in and of itself does not create a link to it from the automatic page here - you still need to edit the subpage (purging the cache is not enough). It seems safe to assume that editing the "List Orphans" template would achieve the same thing for all subpages. --◄mendel► 05:56, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
