- The easiest place to charm a Hyena is in Poisoned Outcrops, where one will usually spawn just outside the Lair of the Forgotten.
- Unlike some other animals that appear as pets of enemies, Sergeant Behnwa's Elder Hyena cannot be stolen by flagging heroes/henchmen to his location to kill him before he can charm it. The version of Charm Animal he uses has no activation time, meaning he will charm the hyena immediately and cannot be interrupted.
