These stationary Rangers can be found in the Depths of Tyria. Although not particularly threatening on their own, their use of various Nature Rituals can be troublesome for parties attacking monsters nearby.
Although it is a ranger, Icy Stalagmites do not fire arrows, but instead hit the ground and cause spikes to appear under the player and cause damage.
They cannot move.
Often enough in Frostmaw's Burrows, Icy Stalagmites guard snowballs. Upon the death of such Stalagmites, these snowballs will roll away, revealing new passages.
