Notes

  • Attacks under this enchantment only require that you swing a weapon to inflict the stated damage, therefore Blindness, miss and blocking skills are not effective; Reckless Haste is actually a benefit when using this skill.
  • Riposte and similar skills are triggered, however, the damage from Illusionary Weaponry will not be negated.
  • Weapons that attack faster will increase DPS, so daggers, swords, and axes are more effective than hammers and scythes.
  • A Me/A using daggers and 10+ Dagger Mastery will attack faster than a sword with Flurry. However, Flurry requires no attribute points to be effective and in addition it frees up room for an offhand or shield. Also, more damage can be dealt using dagger attacks at high Dagger Mastery than this skill can, so you are better off using attack skills instead.
  • Scythes can strike up to 2 foes adjacent to your target, triggering Illusionary Weaponry up to 3 times per attack.
  • While enchanted with Illusionary Weaponry, you will not gain adrenaline from your attacks, and your attacks will not trigger any bonuses or penalties that normally trigger when you hit, miss, or fail to hit, but will trigger effects which operate "on attack" or "while attacking".
  • Illusionary Weaponry works with skills that "end on hit", such as Dark Escape, Signet of Stamina or Feigned Neutrality since you're not actually "hitting" while attacking.
  • Assassin attack skills used without the requirement will still fail and not cause damage. Attack skills used that meet the requirement will cause damage from Illusionary Weaponry, but will not otherwise hit and not mark the target.
