Converting to cash[ | ]
The best rate for converting these directly to cash is purchasing and selling Superior Salvage Kits, which will pay out 200 per commendation (1 per kit, 1 kit per 5 commendations). Of course, keeping and using the kits may be even more profitable. In any case, do not sell them to other players for less than 200 per commendation.
Note that using these kits gives you an even better rate, as each one saves you 4 expert salvage kits, at a cost of 1.6 total. Thus, the potential value of 5 commendations is 1.6 (or 320 each): well worth keeping.

By completing all listed quests, each character can obtain 34 Imperial Commendations. There are 36 quests listed, but there are two sets of mutually exclusive quests.
