Instructor Ng plays a major role for new Factions Campaign character, leading the player through Monastery Overlook to Shing Jea Monastery at the start of the Factions campaign.
Once in the monastery, Instructor Ng gives skill and profession quests. After the player has attained a secondary profession, Instructor Ng grants access to the Shing Jea Dojo and advanced skill courses, to earn the profession Insignia.

Instructor Ng will give courses based on both of the players professions. If you are an Assassin/Mesmer for example, you will be able to accept training courses (the quests) that are available to both professions. For more information or an overview, see also: Course.
