International Talk like a Pirate Day was a weekend event that occurred from the 18th to 21st of September, 2008 and 2009. Intended to coincide with International Talk Like a Pirate Day, the update was not officially documented like other holiday events. No news or update notes documented the changes except a small bug fix notice at the end of the event. On International Talk Like a Pirate Day itself, many NPC's in the port cities were reskinned as Corsairs, while Bottles of Grog were dropped by all monsters in the game throughout the weekend.
