Lower areas of the Maguuma Jungle
The Maguuma Jungle occupies much of the area west and southwest of Kryta. It is a thick jungle with gigantic trees and bursting flora and fauna. It is home to Jungle Trolls, Moss Scarabs, Maguuma Centaurs and the rebel group, the Shining Blade. It is rumored that Saul D'Alessio first came in contact with the Unseen Ones in these jungles.
There are two major types of terrain in the Maguuma. The upper reaches are hot, dry, desert-like areas. Devourers, Thorn Stalkers, and Maguuma Centaurs make their home in the upper parts. The lower parts of the jungle are covered in plants, the middle altitudes still have dirt paths, while the lower areas are water filled. Moss Scarabs, Wind Riders, Jungle Trolls and the poisonous Maguuma Spiders, as well as some centaurs live here. The waters of the Fount Of Maguuma have healing powers and will grant players a +1 health regeneration.
