Mallyx's Defense is a Unique Item which is obtained from the chest that spawns after Mallyx the Unyielding is defeated in The Ebony Citadel of Mallyx.

- The Adamantine Shield from Hahbe, Kol Swordshanks, Asiri, Aksah, or from collector Nikun in The Shattered Ravines.
OR
- The Adamantine Shield from Shausha, Hadusi, Bolereh, Tehshan, Sende, or Ramdah, and:
- A perfect "Luck of the Draw" Inscription
- A perfect Shield Handle of Fortitude.
Notes
- This shield shares the look of an Iridescent Aegis.
- This shield has exactly the same stats as the Sunreach's Shield (Unique) dropped by Sunreach Warmaker in Morostav Trail.
- This shield has exactly the same stats as the tactics version of the Exalted Aegis (unique item).
- In the Factions campaign, a Bronze Shield with exactly the same attributes is available from Weaponsmith Manzo in Kaineng Center, and Wooden Bucklers from collector Healer Silja in Vasburg Armory.
