Mountain Eagles are charmable animals native to the Far Shiverpeaks.

The easiest place to charm a Mountain Eagle is in Ice Cliff Chasms outside the Eye of the North, near the portal to the Battledepths.
The Mountain Eagle is one of four pets that appear to fly when they move. It grows significantly larger than the Phoenix and Raven, but not as large as the Rainbow Phoenix.
Mountain Eagles deal slashing damage until they evolve, at which point they deal piercing damage; if they end up evolving to dire, they will start slashing again.
