The [[Order of the Sunspears]] is a powerful and ancient organization in [[Elona]], dating back to the earliest [[Dynasties of Elona|dynasties]]. Its members are considered the protectors of the nation. According to [[the Scribe]], these zealous knights are tasked with protecting the shores of Elona from corsair attacks, as well as dispatching any elements of evil and corruption that threaten their homeland.

The island of [[Istan]] is the home of the Sunspears, and this is where their [[Sunspear Great Hall]] is located, but - as [[Spearmarshal Kormir]] explains - they patrol throughout all provinces of Elona, dealing with threats to the Elonian people.  

==History==
The Order originated from the [[Sunspear Guard]] of the [[Primeval Dynasty]], but [[Sogolon the Protector]] withdrew the Sunspears from Dynastic service and turned them into an independent order devoted to the protection of all [[Elona]]. Hence, Sogolon is considered the founder of the Sunspears.
