Description
The Phoenix can be tamed as a pet by using the Ranger skill, Charm Animal.
The Phoenix is one of the few pets in Guild Wars that flies, albeit a mere couple feet above the ground purely for visual effect.
There are also two larger phoenixes next to Emperor Kisu in Divine Path, which cannot be tamed.
The Phoenix deals piercing damage.
This pet is a symbol of prestige as its owner has "beaten the game" because a player can not run to the Divine Path.
Location
- In Divine Path, there are only 3 tameable Phoenixes, one near the start, one in the middle and one at the end.

Notes
- In keeping with the Oriental/Asian themes of Factions, the Phoenix is a reference to the Fenghuang or Chinese phoenix, not the fiery one of Egyptian lore.
