Description
The Phoenix is an animal that can be tamed by rangers as an animal companion.
The Phoenix is one of the few creatures in Guild Wars that fly, albeit a mere couple feet above the ground, purely a visual effect.
There are also two larger phoenixes next to Emperor Kisu in Divine Path, which cannot be tamed.
Location
- Note: Because this area is only accessible after having finished the final mission of the Factions campaign, a Phoenix pet is a clear sign that the owner has "beaten the game".
Skills Used
Unsure If it is a skill, But Phoenix HAS a very rare chance of rezing himself (I was AB and me and my Phoenix died on each other, the next thing I know my phoenix came back alive But I was dead the reason we died was because of a minion master no rangers near with revive animal, I belive this effect is very rare tho)
Items Dropped
None
Notes
- In keeping with the Oriental/Asian themes of Factions, the Phoenix is a reference to the Fenghuang or Chinese phoenix, not the fiery one of Egyptian lore.
