- Three of these bosses appear at the end of Ooze Pit.
- Each of the three Prismatic Oozes will spawn two Hulking Volatile Oozes upon their death, who in turn will each spawn five additional random oozes upon their death.
- Gelatinous Absorption will make the Prismatic Ooze virtually invincible during its duration, and it is possible to maintain it indefinitely, though the AI usually isn't smart enough to do so. Anything that is not damage, such as degen, life stealing, or health loss, will not trigger Gelatinous Absorption.
