Historical note: Professor Yakkington was added on 9 April 2009. Since the 23 April 2009 update, he trades irises for equipment (pre-searing Ascalon) and appears alongside Nicholas the Traveler in other campaigns.

• According to Nicholas Sandford, Professor Yakkington is afraid of the dark, enjoys eating Red Iris Flowers, loves a good game of fetch the bone, and is fond of Mary Malone and her apples. Also, Yakkington's lucky number is 5.
