Ritual Priest Hehmnut is an Elonian scholar and arcanist who died several hundred years before the present day in the game. In the bonus objective of the Elona Reach mission, players are asked to bring a shard of the Vision Crystal to Priest Hehmnut's remains to awaken him as well as Ritual Priest Kahdat and Ritual Priest Nahtem.

- Priest Hehmnut was the eldest of the high priests of Elonia and therefore felt it was he who should be charged with keeping all three shards of the Vision Crystal. It was his unyielding conviction of this point that eventually led to the split of the three high priests into separate camps, each taking their most devoted followers with them. Hehmnut was a stubborn man, and even at the very end, as his people died of thirst and starvation, he never backed down from his stance.
