Notes

  • Though it lacks the armor penetration that other Air Magic skills have, does the lowest base damage of all Air Magic skills, and has a comparatively long recharge, Shell Shock should not be overlooked: Cracked Armor can massively boost the damage dealt from other skills against a target with greater than 60 base armor.
  • The Cracked armor is applied after the damage is inflicted.
  • Combines well with a Blinding Surge elementalist to cover blind.
  • Works well when combined with a warrior using Distracting Strike.

Trivia

  • "Shell Shock" is a military term used to categorize a range of behaviours resulting from the stress of battle which decrease the combatant's fighting efficiency.
  • It is also an archaic term for Posttraumatic stress disorder, or PTSD.
