Sickened Humans are humans "sickened" by the malevolent spirit of Shiro Tagachi and "infected" with the plague that will eventually turn them into an Afflicted creature, but have not made the transformation yet. Even if they were previously tame, the plague turned them into agressive and wild creatures again.
