Striders are charmable animals native to the Kingdom of Ascalon.

- The easiest place to charm a Strider is in Green Hills County outside of The Barradin Estate. As this Strider spawns next to a resurrection shrine, it is very useful for death leveling.
- Other species of Moa can be found throughout the world:
- Moa Birds in Ascalon.
- Black Moas in the Echovald Forest.
- White Moas and White Jingle Moas in the Far Shiverpeaks.
- Striders deal slashing damage when unevolved, and piercing damage when evolved.
- Other than the name, Striders are identical to Moa Birds and count as such for the purposes of unlocking animals at the Zaishen Menagerie Grounds.
