Notes
- Casting Tainted Flesh on someone who is already diseased will cure them of it.
- In PvE scenarios, this skill can be incredibly useful since the enemy groups you meet will often be of the same species. Attract the aggro of enemy warriors so that they may catch the condition and pass it on to the rest.
- As disease is spread among a type of foe disregarding its party, the "tainted caster" has to spam it all over his team. Otherwise, targets infected by your melee attacker will spread the disease among untainted team mates.
- The spam can be done in 14 seconds (8*(1(Activation)+0.75(Reload)), and with the use of an upgraded weapon of enchanting, tainted flesh can last more than 55s with 16 attributed points in Death magic.
- As it is a long lasting enchantment with a low cost, it can be used as a cover for other expensive enchantment or to protect team mates from a troublesome enchantment debuff, like Recall for an Assassin, Protective Spirit, Divine Boon, Smite skills...
- Some drawbacks about the Tainted Flesh use:
- A bad spam of the enchantment could simply reverse pressure on your own backline team (caster and monk.)
- Enchanted teams become more vulnerable to mesmer debuff.
- It may be effective to use this skill in conjunction with the Ranger's Nature Ritual Toxicity.
