With a few exceptions (Necro's = too spider-leggy, Assassins = ridiculous porcupine as always), I can say Ancient is the one armor style set that I like for almost all the classes. Really great looking in general. Yeah, the Ranger bug armor put me off at first but it's grown on me (so to speak :P). Arshay Duskbrow 16:08, 9 November 2006 (CST)
- I agree with you. I think this is the best looking mesmer armor, or one of them so fars. At first I didn't like the whole mummy armor for the ritualist, but i think its starting to grow on me too. - Most mesmer armor (at least for the guys) is so bland or atrociously offensive to the eyes that this art looks super-cool by comparison. And it's so cheap, too! :) DaveK 14:47, 20 December 2006 (GMT)

Haha, nice job Anet, sick armor all around (except for warrior...the helms are ridiculously stuped looking (IMO)). Elementalist and Mesmer armors break the standards for their proffession, and everyone else looks great.--Warior kronos 16:58, 12 May 2007 (CDT)

Renaming[]
Does anyone know when Shadow Nexus armor was renamed from Ancient to Mysterious? I'm guessing it was part of the mass armor renaming in the May 24th update. -- Gordon Ecker 18:03, 18 June 2007 (CDT)
