More Fragil?

Just want to comment that I totally did not expect them to be more fragile than Burning Titans, considering for the bonus we even have to fight three of them... Well I never played a damage dealer against them (not the primary damage dealer anyways), so I really wouldn't know. Still, surprised. -PanSola 00:22, 16 November 2005 (UTC)

Do they have weaker armor or do they have less max health, or was the fragility measured by some other methods? -PanSola 22:04, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
I put this note and it was based on a perception. Just the way they fell more quickly than aBurning Titan. I just tested it. They do have slightly lower AL.. My Lightning Strike does 39 (instead of 53) against the Burning Titan and it does 42 against the Armageddon Lord. I tried to use the present formulae in Damage to figure out what is going on and failed, miserably. I am hating that page more and more each day. --Karlos 14:58, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Some tips that might help:
  1. lightning strike might have armor penetration, which reduces the effective armor level.
  2. don't work backwards from the actual damage to figure out armor. Irrational numbers are hard to deal with. Guesstimate an armor level and see if the damage rounds out to be the same
  3. do the calculations with a spreadsheet, so you can just plug in various numbers and let teh computer do the math.
That being said, I just realized Armageddon Lords are eles while burning titans are warriors. A place to start guesstimating is that Armageddon Lords have Level × 3 AL, whereas Burning Titans have Level × 3+20 (and maybe another +20 vs physical). -PanSola 18:39, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

spawns

I'm assuming they spawn level 24 Risen Ashen Hulks, but they could also spawn level 28 hulks. I'll check once my warrior casp Hundred Blades assuming someone else doesn't beat me to it. -- Gordon Ecker 01:30, 27 August 2006 (CDT)

Yup, just checked, level 24. --Rainith 02:15, 27 August 2006 (CDT)

Damage Calculations for Lightning Strike

Karlos: here are the calculations...

53 x ( 2^ ((60- (ALx (1- .25))) /40))

where 53 is your expected damage, 60 is your Level x 3 per BaseDR, 1-.25 is the Armor Penetration, and AL is the unknown variable (Armor Level).

Setting this equation equal to 39 and 42, respectively, yields 103.6 AL (Burning Titan) and 97.8 AL (Armageddon Lord).

So the difference is actually very small, less than 10AL. But it's there nonetheless.

These stats are accurate as of Jan 6 2007 when I tested em give or take a few AL

Armageddon Lord 102 base +40 against fire -20 against cold

Burning Titan 102 base +20 against physical +40 against fire -20 against cold

Burning Titans have more armour against physical but it is surely the hp that makes the difference.
