Removed trivia[]
I haven't seen this guy (or at least I can't remember seeing him anymore), but when I just saw this name pop up, before I even saw that that note was removed in that edit, I thought of captain Nemo. And tbh, it's just one letter different, how is that so unlikely? --

- It's 25% unlikely ;-) I'm a big fan of trivia, so I prefer that we have something more to base the idea on, besides the similarities in the name. e.g. if Nebo goes on adventures, talks about inventions, or something that provides some evidence that his name is anything more than coincidental. According to the wikipedia article, "[Captain Nemo] eschews dry land having forsworn all ties with it, and when he does step on it, does so only when the land is uninhabited." — hardly the sort of activities of one associates with Kournan Army officers (he looks like one of their scribes).
