I haven't tested whether or not this is a plant, but my note on the bottom of the page, coupled with its skin, tells me that this is most likely a plant.--Nog64Talk

These things seem to either appear out of nowhere in Vloxen Excavations / Heart of the Shiverpeaks, etc. (drop down from ceiling?), although usually it is near a Fungal Bloom. Are they grouped spawns? Sometimes I would be fighting a Fungal Bloom, and other Parasitic Growths/Fungal Spores would spawn of course, but then a bit later a Cave Ayahuasca would appear...
