I found this in the wanted pages list and wondered if that was worth an article by itself or just a redirect of some sort to Celestial Bosses --Chi Li Chi Li 03:32, 12 June 2006 (CDT)

I've been thinking about creating an article for this term myself for a while. The term "celestial" was frequently used by ANet in the Factions campaign (for creatures, weapons, skills, ...) to indicate a link with the spirits of Cantha. At least that's my understanding. --Tetris L 04:41, 12 June 2006 (CDT)
It's something to do with the stars and the spirits of the ancients. Will need to read Suun's dialog and the adepts' dialog more closely to try and piece it together. Celestial stuff drops a LOT more in that mission.
Even though I was the one to propose the species Celestial I think now that the name might be too generic, that perhpas it should be "Celestial Being" or something. --Karlos 06:51, 12 June 2006 (CDT)
Yeah, I was thinking that when I wrote the article and noticed that "Celestial" was used as a species name. --Tetris L 07:37, 12 June 2006 (CDT)
Actually, let's undo that. The Adept at the start of Nahpui Quarter calls them Celestials and says every time you kill a celestial. So, that's that. --Karlos 07:52, 13 June 2006 (CDT)

Celestial Sigil[]

I wouldn't say the Celestial Sigils are "earthly". They are granted by the gods for winning their favor (and attention) in the Hall of Heroes as I understand it. --Chi Li Chi Li 05:41, 12 June 2006 (CDT)

They maybe related. --Karlos 06:51, 12 June 2006 (CDT)
True that, ChiLi, that's not exactly earthly. Should be reworded.
As for the two being related, first I wasn't sure if the name "Celestial Sigil" is related to the Canthan "celestial" terminology at all, but then I remembered that you need to show it to the Canthan Ambassador to obtain a GH on a Canthan island. --Tetris L 07:37, 12 June 2006 (CDT)
