To take out the wurms and avoid being razed - tank gets close to the wurm and the longer range and monks spread out all around the wurm. You can flag heroes pretty well round it. I`ve done it three times with heroes - taking me (warrior, MM, Fire Ele and LoD monk then henchies - Earth, Prot, Healer and Fire Ele. I have had a few golds, diamonds and onyx gemstones. - Vitulari Fidicen
Bug - no rez after killing Frostmaw[]
I think it should be noted, that if you kill Frostmaw, and then your party is wiped by another wurm, you WILL NOT be resurrected. This occurred with me and i was pretty angry, there was the chest right in front of me, and the game would not resurect me. Maybe it was just a glitch, but it happened, so be sure to kill everything else first, and stay alive. -Ajc2123

Reward[]
It only lists 10k xp and 2k gold...i'm pretty sure I haven't done this mission yet..so QQ
Yeah, i've done the quest and obviously didn't get 3000 norn reputation points. Someone posted a screenshot in the dungeon talk showing a reward of 300 points, which is much more reasonnable.
- I got 3,000 Norn faction the first time I completed this dungeon (during the preview event), then 300 both times I've done it since release with the same character. I'm guessing all dungeons offer a much lower faction reward after the character has completed it once. —Vendetta411 22:59, 13 September 2007 (CDT)
Bugs - Confirmation Needed[]
The following bugs have been experienced by various users and have been added at least once to this page, but they lack hard evidence.

Bug! Frostmaw disappeared while fighting the frost siege wurms and never came back out to fight. |

Bug! Doorway to Dungeon 3 caused party to not be able to move anymore. |

Bug! If lead too far from its point of origin, the Frostmaw Spawn may simply disappear. This can prevent the party from progressing further. |

Bug! Frostmaw the Kinslayer in some cases does not spawn. |
Discuss validity, and if you say a bug does exist, please try to provide hard proof like a screenshot.

Hard Mode Rewards[]
Does anyone know the Hard Mode Reward for 1st Time in Hard mode even if done previously in normal mode?
Just finished it in Hard Mode for first time. 4500 Norn Reputation pts awarded. 10,000 exp and 2 plat for the quest. ImperialMike 07:19, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
