Precast Balthazar's. Wait for him to come down. Activate glads as soon as he finishes his first spirit. Knock him down when Glad's is running out and follow it with OYK to reactivate glads. Alternate between Riposte and Deadly Riposte, keeping Glad's up at all times. Use Healing Signet if you need health but only when you have Glad's on. Disrupt his Shadowsong so you can always gain adrenaline.

Thx this build worked great. BTW I dint have club of a thousand bears so I used brawling headbutt instead, works great.

Bug
The Griffon sometimes gets trapped between trees and other objects (including his spirits). Making this quest very easy for casters.

- With patient, I took advantage of the bug, it took my like 20 minutes but I manage to stuck him and I stood behind a hill to cover from the annoying spirits, casting fire as much as I could, specially burning him to death.--66.98.85.41 22:34, 26 August 2007 (CDT)

- Go with a 600 hp Spirit Bond build and use a PBAoE build (Flame Burst, Inferno, Star Burst) or Sliver Armor.
doesn't matter the profession just have a Rt. weather it is Rt primary or secondary. all you need is the elite skill consume soul. i did it with my warr; it worked well.

Paragon's Nightmater
I tried all the build with paragon but it just wont work, Ebon Dust, Burnin refrain + long bow, Crippling etc Kullwarrior
- Try this: Longbw + Apply Poison. Shoot and run, eventually he'll lock himself up. Then whittle away at his health, keeping your own health up against a random spirit-attack. Should be no problem once he's locked :) Can be done with ANY proff, btw --84.24.206.123 04:27, 1 September 2007 (CDT)
Glitches fixed? Verifiers needed
I just heard from an alliance mate that the griffon no longer glitches in corners. I can't confirm it myself just now because I only have one char in EotN so far, but others who are at this point can please verify and confirm. I'll leave the bug notice in for now. BftP 16:25, 1 September 2007 (CDT)
I made it a few minutes ago, he get stuck in the decor. So there is still a bug.

Universal Any/R build
I managed to come up with an effective build that only requires a ranger secondary. It should work for all professions as long as you don't spam skills.

Shoot from the hills along the side to increase your range and damage. Simply use a Longbow to keep out of range of the spirits and keep the Griffon poisoned. Always Interrupt Shadowsong to be safe, though it's not a big deal if you don't.
The build uses all core or EotN skills. Only Apply Poison has to be purchased. An alternaterative to "I Am The Strongest!" is "You Move Like a Dwarf!". --Curse You 15:40, 4 September 2007 (CDT)
