This skill works well in a skill chain with Spirit Rift, Channeled Strike, and Ancestor's Rage. Cast Cruel Was Daoshen first, and let your energy regen, run up to your intended target, and cast Spirit Rift. After rift is complete immediately cast Channeled Strike. When Channeled Strike is complete drop Daoshen and cast Ancestor's Rage, thus resulting in a very large of spike damage, a large portion of it dealt over an area. --KeeseroGuan 16:16, 21 June 2006 (CDT)
