repeated death within a short time = no increase in DP?

I have recently noticed quite often, that when I was ressed and died again right away, my DP didn't increase. I am not sure, though, if this only happens when ressed by a henchman or when venturing with an all henchmen team, or if it applies to human company, too. I also don't know how much time may pass between two deaths, I'd guess about 3 seconds. Anyone else noticed this? --84-175 (talk) 17:14, 2 May 2006 (CDT)

This is correct, but I don't know the exact length of time. I play with hench a lot and often times rezed by them -> die right away (I get annoyed when I don't die right away because the enemies take too long to target me and I get more DP) Alxa 17:37, 2 May 2006 (CDT)

Permanence

Why is it that if you die, a res signet will bring you right back, but if NPCs (friend or foe, not counting henchmen, heroes, or pets) die, they're dead for good? I mean, it advances the plot and adds to the challenge and all that, but is there any in-game reason given for it? As even some foes carry res signets, I'd think that some of at least the major plot characters would keep a few of those around.... -- Peej 14:17, 5 March 2007 (CST)

Strange Orb

I noticed multiple times when I died on my level 16 monk in the Divinity Coast mission, that a blue orb would then fly around above my character's corse. I'm unsure as to what it was, but it dissapeared when I was ressurected. Has anyone else experienced this strange phenomenon?--Darunian 18:38, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Was it the Eye of Janthir? Otherwise, I dunno. Entropy Sig (T/C) 18:39, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
