In my opinion, this can be much better than Deaths's Retreat as it is not conditional. Also, it heals you (not as much as death's retreat) and most importantly your ally so can act as a heal when "jumping forward" to catch up with allies. Also, it does not require you to be a assassin and does not have to use attribute points to be effective as well as a faster recharge. Comments anyone? --Flechette 04:24, 27 August 2007 (CDT)

Comment- Egon's -sin is Very Happy!
It's a spammable retreating Shadow Step and heal. YOu can also use it on a Monk to use say, Healing Touch on a caster ally. Egon (cannot be bothered to log in )86.25.26.32 11:20, 27 August 2007 (CDT)
IMO this isn't a good idea. Shadow steps were originally made for the assassin, not so everyone could use it. This is going to be like SP on wars and dervs: an overused skill used for professions combos that should have never existed (not saying its gunna be used often by wars or dervs, just saying like SP is overused). I could understand this better as an Asura skill (superior magic knowledge, they must have worked out a way to shadow step without the knowledge of the assassin arts), but as an ebon vanguard skill this just seems out of place.--John deathblade 10:54, 30 August 2007 (CDT)
Looks fine to me. Part of the game is putting together skills that combo well. And while I have been seeing a lot of people using Shadow Prison a lot, it's not like you can abuse this skill. It's pve-only. As a monk, I like the idea that ANYONE can now jump out of danger, and possibly heal me. Win-freaking-win, IMO ~Avatarian 86 15:58, 30 August 2007 (CDT)
Also, necro's and ele's both have some kind of teleporting skills, and the Ebon Vangaurd is just a faction, not a whole army of warriors. They can have whatever classes they want. The name suggests a shadowy group, and it would make sense for them to have assassins. ~Avatarian 86 16:03, 30 August 2007 (CDT)
It's a PvE only skill, who cares if it's balanced? lol
Careful, you'll make the AI cry... :P80.5.218.160 14:00, 2 September 2007 (CDT)

85.81.126.123 16:15, 1 September 2007 (CDT) I bet you could send your tank in first, use this to step in, do some damage, then step out on account of the quick recharge. You heal your tank, get a soft melee or point blank AoE character up front and have an easy exit.Hugh Manatee 05:22, 2 September 2007 (CDT)

I think it's best for monks, it's return, with another function.Forgot to sign -.---Darksyde Never Again 05:31, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Very few skills are best for a certain profession (Besides primary attribute skills xP). The idea of a PBAOE jumper is a good idea that would work well, especially with Starburst, MS, Inferno...--Gigathrash sig G.jpgìğá†ħŕášħ 05:34, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
