Ugh! That update means a LOT of rework to be done on GuildWiki. :-/ --Tetris L 16:36, 8 Sep 2005 (EST)

I am wikifying it right now, please hold on edits.. Thanks. --Karlos 16:44, 8 Sep 2005 (EST)
Indeed, They messed us up pretty badly, I'd say. :) --Eightyfour-onesevenfive 17:14, 8 Sep 2005 (EST)
They did some fixes that were long over due, but then did some wierd stuff too. I love the new areas though. Pretty hard. --Karlos 18:24, 8 Sep 2005 (EST)
On the brighter side, all the other GW websides gotta update their info too. And chances are we'll be MUCH faster than all the "official fansites". :) --Tetris L 20:04, 8 Sep 2005 (EST)

Is it just me or has the number of edits increased tremendously since this update? I mean not only that people seem to be eager to document all the changes and new stuff, we also seem to have gotten a great number of new users. Has Guildwiki been mentioned on some prominent place? --Eightyfour-onesevenfive 18:12, 11 Sep 2005 (EST)

Oh, we are prominent alright. :) I have met people in the game who suggest to me stuff that is written in these articles. :) The increase in the number of anonmous edits and vandalisms is proof that there are tons of people reading the stuff now. Can any of the admins provide us with like a web hits report? --Karlos 18:48, 11 Sep 2005 (EST)
Simple Reason: green items, the url to Unique Items List gets posted in all chat in Deldrimor War Camp and in the 3 biggest guild wars forums and god knows were else regularily. So its partically my fault because just look here
Guildwiki is the #1 database. Just browse trough Category:Bestiary Category:Skills Category:Locations Category:Weapons Category:Armor, and others. Nothing else comes close to even 1/50th of them and most databases like that are barely hypertext, look gooddamn ugly (brown text on black background and other nono's) and sometimes are out of date since 2-3 months! And thoose are listed on fansites, just because theyre older. --Ollj 20:00, 11 Sep 2005 (EST)
Well, of all the fan sites out there, NOTHING comes close tous in terms of quickly finding the info. We do not rely on a hierarchy of HTML pages but a powerful searchable and hyperlinked wiki. This green items update showed me how much people use this site. I think we were popular before, but now, because this is a new addition that a lot of people can easily help in, you see how popular we are. I personally believe we should have a special status with Arena Net, NO site offers a more powerful and usable database. --Karlos 20:20, 11 Sep 2005 (EST)
They still haven't reacted to the Letter, though, have they? --Eightyfour-onesevenfive 20:35, 11 Sep 2005 (EST)
I think we need to push for that again. --Karlos 21:28, 11 Sep 2005 (EST)
